When I read this picture. I see an answer to overcoming the stigma others place upon you and on Mental illness in general. I used to allow it to my denial. It took me much courage to say. "I know me and I know that I must show others that my bipolar is not what they think." I live my life and stand up for my rights even if I am alone in doing so. I have found that by doing that I can overcome and teach others about my life. Remember to Keep on Smiling! This blog is a place for me to share my life of the mental illness called Bipolar Disorder and my journey through the many facets of it. In hopes of helping others to better understand the complications it may cause and ways of living in a society knowing only the stigma and not accurate accounts of mental illness.
